Man this is so surreal, I just came here from Nano-Cores tribute drawing - which I'm envious of, btw. (I all the time swear to soon, real soon attempt doing some drawings like T'n'T does them...and resist the urge to ink).
I've realised I just came to the actual profile page for the first time-somehow I had always watched (and LUONG YOU WONed) the drawings, and, well, apparently they impressed me even more than I realised. I wanted to investigate closer, as, apparently, Tentaclesand fucking Teeth actually from time to time spoke to people. :o (Eek)
He even hath spoken to someone I know. Whom I watched and followed and seen developing his art since forever, and the more or the less, I guess ;P , he did with me.
To whom he had given tips about drawing...
I know an actual, living deviant (and an already skilled one by the way) whom THE PROPHET had bestowed wisdom upon...
So I went here, to see if there were actual ways, maybe a contest, or a little blood sacrifice, to get a chance for a short audience with him...

For quite a while now, I had watched TentaclesandTeeth, idolized his art and his style (and reminded myself constantly to not actually just fave his entire gallery). Therefore I eventually made a dedicated collection however, which is named that because it felt like my beloved categories, avoiding collection folders for any single artist, got forceknocked down by those drawings, the way they reeally really meet my taste, my H.P.L. fandom and my love for masterfully executed sketchwork, it so deserves it, so again, LUONG, YOU WON.

However, this is what I was getting at in beginning:
I've never been here on the profile page, and the way I realized was that, for all the time I've watched and faved so much of this unholy goodness, I always somehow assumed I knew TentaclesandTeeth to be one of those deviants with 5 million pageviews and above, who simply can't talk to his fans anymore really because there's so much coming in.

And that guy, whom I literally blindly accept as someone so high up and beyond a "normal" person's reach like mine, just because of the sheer impact his style and technique had on me, that guy just tells me (well 2014 he did) that actually he has to work hard on the same challenge of "getting seen" I just hesitatingly begin to explore right now for when I'll eventually have to face it, Azathoth knows how.
While I had actually automatically assumed him one dA "star" (actually it feels like I see your work everywhere dude) everyone and his sister knew long before me, recognizing the artistic vision informing the unique, fresh style executed masterfully to make one stare even at a dozen portraits of OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, CTHULHU in a row without getting bored - which marks, as I'm no entire fool myself, that, even though still having to market himself, Richard Luong already has his move together, by skill, style and steadyness. Craftsmanship, Content and Continuity; Prowess, Product, Perseverance. Verve, Value, Variability. Someone save me I feel like I could go on...

Ok, I made a joke of it, but actually, all of those alliterations actually make sense, each word they contain is an element of importance in becoming a brand and multiplying exposure, and since TentaclesandTeeth employs all of them in building his body of work, he can serve as a huge source of motivation for aspiring artists looking up to him, like Nano-Core (who's actually a working pro already, though) and me, letting us know that he has to put effort into it too and, well, as an example showing us how it's done.

Hell, I'm gonna do what I can to help.
